Help us sew Fidget Blankets to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association. Materials and instruction will be provided.
All sewing levels are welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced sewists.
“In astudyconducted by Mukerrem K. Yildiz, PhD, and Ayse Cal, PhD, on March 22, 2022, researchers aimed to understand the impact of theAlzheimers Blanket Activity Program(ABAP) on individuals with Alzheimers disease. The focus was on behavioral symptoms, daily activities, and overall quality of life.
Results indicated positive changes in the daily life activities, quality of life, and neuropsychiatric symptom scores among individuals with Alzheimers disease after participating in the program.” -Alzheimer’s Lab
